This fully customizable employee manual was written
specifically for the CSSA by the California Employer Association and was updated to reflect the 2017 employee law changes. This Manual was designed in an
effort to help our Owner members communicate information about working
conditions, employee benefits, and company policies to new and current
employees in a manner that is conducive to both personal and professional

managers and human resource personnel on the implementation and
enforcement of company policies in a uniform and consistent manner, thus
reducing the risk of unfair treatment of employees. An
employee handbook also provides a means to disseminate required

This guide will be updated on an annual basis with updates provided
free of charge to members in good standing.
